2014 Christmas vacation, we decided to do a road trip to Odisha. The first day we left from Bengaluru to Hyderabad. We had planned on leaving earlier but late sleep and a closer destination resulted in us leaving only by 8:30AM.

8:30AM Left the home on to outer ring road towards the airport road. Crossed airport around 9:45 AM. The new flyover towards airport from Hebbal has atleast four cameras each way so it is not wise to speed on that segment of the road. The speed limit on that road is 80 Kmph.
10:10 AM Reached Kamath Upachar near Chikkaballapura. The plan was to have a heavy breakfast so that we can either skip lunch or have a late and light lunch somewhere on the way. We were out of the place by 11:00 AM
12:20 PM Crossed Anantpur
2:00 PM Crossed Kurnool
2:10 PM Stopped at the dhaba for a tea. There is a Ghar Dhaba associated with the petrol station on highway. The place is not really great but good enough for rest stop and a quick bite or tea.

3:45 PM Crossed Mahbubnagar town outskirts
5:25 PM We reached Taj Krishna and checked in. Here is my review of the hotel.
